Tiffany Nettles

Tiffany Nettles - Columbia SC Moms Blog

Owner & Founder

Tiffany traded in back-to-back business meetings and PowerPoint presentations, for sippy cups and play dates – leaving her corporate job of 15 years in September 2013 to become a stay-at-home mom to her 16 month old toddler. Finding her life turned completely upside down, she struggled to find herself outside of “mama.” Through trial and error she stumbled across many resources and mothers who continue to help her navigate through this journey we call motherhood. To say life is different is an understatement, and she now has a new found love and respect for the “hardest” (and best!)  job she’s ever had.

A native South Carolinian, Tiffany is best described as kind-hearted and friendly, with a quick sense of humor. When she’s not toting her little one around town to the latest kid-friendly activity, you can find her enjoying a latte at Drip, catching up on the latest celebrity gossip magazines, or watching old reruns of Beverly Hills 90210 from the early 90’s. She received her Masters Degree in Integrated Communications from the University of South Carolina in 2007, and enjoys reading, writing and traveling (when she finds the time).

Tiffany and her husband Rob, whom she met off match.com (it really can work!), enjoy life in their 1930’s bungalow home. Her love for all things “mom” began in 2011 when she was pregnant with her son Brock. She continuously seeks new ways to enrich her son’s life in and around Columbia, and hopes the Columbia SC Moms Blog will be a valuable resource to all moms in the area.

McColloch Salehi

McColloch Salehi - Columbia SC Moms Blog

Marketing Coordinator

McColloch’s love for Columbia, SC began to blossom when she became a “local” in 2011. Before moving Southward, she earned her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University with specialization in International Social Work, and served as a supervisor at a New York City non-profit.

In addition to her role with Columbia SC Moms Blog, she holds two cherished titles: “stepmom” and “mom” to three girls; 9, 3, and newborn. While shuttling between gymnastics, school and the library, she enjoys meeting the many diverse and fascinating women that make up the community of local moms.

A violist, McColloch occasionally contributes to the local music scene, often alongside her guitarist husband. She has a great story about how they met. Ask her about it when you see her at the park or in line at Drip Coffee. She will be glad to help you with her funny name.
