Vanessa Pham
Vanessa Pham is a native Texan and mother of two: Reyna, 9, and Seth, 2. This is her fourth year living in Columbia. Before motherhood changed her life, she was a newspaper reporter, writing tutor, freelance writer and proofreader. She is also a licensed educator and teaches high school literature part-time. In addition, she has completed several hours in early childhood training, is a former preschool teacher and director, and currently works part-time for her church as the childcare coordinator. Outside of work, she enjoys staying home with her 2-year-old, dancing with her children, spoiling her cats, writing pretty much anything, and when there's time, taking trips to the mountains. Chocolate, coffee, and prayer are her go-to's for her sanity and survival. Reading renews her mind and traveling revives her spirit.
