Free Fridays at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden

Residents of Richland and Lexington counties will receive free admission to the Zoo and Garden every Friday during the months of January and February. Guests will be asked to provide a valid driver’s license, property tax statement or vehicle registration as proof of residency.

Monster Jam

Check out the nastiest machines in motorsports when Monster Jam rolls into town. The event brings 10,000 pound, 1,500 horsepower U.S. Hot Rod Monster Trucks to do battle in a “Roundy round” racing format. Led by the legendary Grave Digger and other fan favorites, this class of metal-munching monster trucks is ready to tear up the track. These trucks employ the latest technology to provide a spectacle of rock and roar that’s unequalled anywhere in the motor sports industry. Ticket Prices: $43 – VIP, $33 – Gold Circle, $28 Adults, $15.50 Kids 2-12, $23 Adults, $13 Kids 2-12, Ages 1 and under are free.

Dr. Dolittle Jr.

The classic tale of kindness to animals trots, crawls and flies onto the stage in Doctor Dolittle JR. All of the characters we’ve come to love through the stories of Hugh Lofting and the magical movie musical are given new life in the stage version.The musical tells the classic tale of a wacky but kind doctor who can talk to animals, taking the audience on a journey from the small English village of Puddleby-On-The-Marsh to the far corners of the world. When Doctor Dolittle attempts to help a seal named Sophie, he’s wrongly accused of murder and stands trial before General Bellowes. Once pronounced innocent, Dolittle is free to continue with his search for the Great Pink Sea Snail – the oldest and wisest of the creatures on earth.

Home Depot Kids: Valentines Mailbox

Join our hands-on workshop and build a wooden Valentines mailbox to hold all your child?s valentine cards from their favorite friends. After the mailbox is built, your child can personalize their project with paint. All kids get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin while supplies last. Children must be present at the store to participate in the workshop and receive the kit, apron and pin.

Dinos: The Big Dig

This dino-mite exhibit features roaring robotic dinosaurs such as the Stegosaurus, Raptor and Triceratops. Dig for fossils in the Dino Dig Pit and pan for gemstones in the Treasure Creek! Little ones will enjoy pretend play in the Paleo Tent and Lil’ Explorers area filled with costumes, puppets, books and puzzles. Michael’s Kids Club® Kids Club® Valentine’s Arrow Card

The Snow Queen
