Dear Summer Programs Staff, I wanted to send you a quick email to say THANK YOU for running such a wonderful program. My daughter is currently enrolled in her third week of camp, and when I picked her up yesterday afternoon, the very first thing she said to me was “I love Hammond!” Whatever they did in Science Camp yesterday must have been completely awesome – we heard bits and pieces about tasting different flavors and making blue slime before she fell asleep two hours earlier than normal! We are new in town and are very grateful to have found your program. Thank you!” – Bryony and Terry Hodges
I have to say being a new family to Hammond the summer program was a great experience for our two boys. The summer staff and instructors were warm, and very interactive. It was a great introduction to the school. – Duane Dunn
Laura cannot stop talking about Kris Teeter’s sewing camp. She came home every day saying things like, ‘It was so much fun.’ ‘I wish it was longer.’ Each day she came home with a little project or two but today she came home with not just her projects but with a gift from Mrs. Teeter – her own little starter sewing kit complete with full-sized scissors, a seam ripper, pins, thread, etc. Of course they were in a cute little bag that Mrs. Teeter had personalized with Laura’s name. I remember I took sewing lessons when I was in 7th grade. I remember it fondly, and I know Laura will always remember Mrs Teeter’s sewing camp at Hammond School. She can’t wait to do some more sewing!!!
I just wanted to pass on my appreciation for a job well done!! She really went above and beyond to create a wonderful experience for these little girls!! Thanks again to Mrs. Teeter for a wonderful week and to Mr. White for all his work with the summer programs!! – Tammy Moshier
And don’t forget to check out their Hawk Ridge Camp, a full-day camp for 3 year olds – rising sixth graders… eight weeks of field trips, playing sports, art, enjoying outdoor time, enrichment opportunities and much more.
My kids are really enjoying the Hawk Ridge Camp. Thank you so much for making it such a great experience for them. We are scheduled to come next week and the following week. Thanks for providing a wonderful camp! – Julie Stensland
Thank you so much for the Hawk Ridge camp last week. Sophia had a great time, especially at Saluda Shoals on both days and at the farm horseback riding. I very much appreciate your efforts and your staff’s to make this a fabulous summer experience for the kids. Thanks again. – Mary Voulgaris
