Please join us at your local Kroger store to receive your very own Kroger Chef Junior slicer that you can use to make Ice Cream Sandwiches!
A Kroger Chef will guide your child as they learn to create a tasty food item on their own. Each workshop lasts for approximately 20 minutes and includes activities such as decorating a cupcake or creating your own fruit pizza.
As part of every experience, your child will receive these Kroger Chef Junior items!
- Chef’s Hat
- Recipe Card & Box
- Cooking Utensil
Each child will take home a recipe card that includes step-by-step instructions so that together, you can continue the experience at home with a made-from-scratch recipe! It’s a great way to foster a life-long love of cooking!
Kroger Chef Junior workshops are recommended for children ages 4-10 years old, but all are welcome! Please note, registration via Eventbrite is required.

Literacy, Enrichment and Play (LEAP) is an interactive program for babies and their caregivers that uses books, rhymes, games, fingerplays and songs to encourage literacy through learning. For more information, call 785-2630. (ages birth – 18 months)

Join us at Sesquicentennial State Park to learn more about this once in a lifetime event happening right here in South Carolina on August 21! We’ll discuss why solar eclipses occur and how to view them safely as well as make a couple fun, easy take home crafts! Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Come out and enjoy an evening of fun and excitement with your loved ones while LOPE host it’s 2nd Annual Family Fun Day Sunday August 20th @Finlay Park!
Family Fun Day will feature lots of fun-filled activities and games, bouncing houses, face painting, vendors, live entertainment and music while enjoying the tasty cuisines of SC’s Best Food Trucks!
FREE haircuts & hairstyles will be provided by KUTZ Barbershop & Hair stylists onsite. And FREE school supplies will be given to the families who participate in the activities and games provided at the event.
LOPE’s purpose is to bring all families together in efforts to interact with one another in a positive atmosphere while bringing awareness that focuses primarily on the physical and emotional needs of our youth. So come out and enjoy the fun and GET READY FOR THE ECLISPE MONDAY! Support the cause!
