Local Help for ANY Mom in the Midlands

Local Help for Any Mom in the Midlands | Columbia SC Moms BlogI have worked for Daybreak Ministries for eight years now. It’s an extraordinary organization, but most people who know about us think it’s just for teen parents or moms in crisis. And while Daybreak is an absolutely fantastic source of safety and support for parents who may find themselves in a tough spot, they have resources and help available to ANY parent in the Midlands! Here are a few ways Daybreak Ministries can help.

1. Free pregnancy testing and ultrasounds.

Need to confirm your pregnancy in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment? Come to Daybreak. Need the official paperwork to help you get healthcare or WIC? Daybreak can help. Need an ultrasound before you can be seen by your doctor? They’ve got your back! All of Daybreak’s services and free and completely confidential, no insurance or referral needed.

2. Parenting classes, birthing classes, and free baby supplies.

Daybreak offers free parenting and childbirth classes lead by medical professionals to their clients and partners. The best part? Attendance at any of these classes helps you earn “Baby Bucks” to get FREE essential items for your new little one! “Taylor’s Boutique” contains everything from clothing and diapers to car seats and strollers, all completely free of charge through their Baby Bucks program.

3. Free support to babies in our community.

Client or not, any mother in the community can drop by Daybreak’s office once a month for free, no-strings-attached diapers and/or formula. Period. They want to make sure every baby has a full tummy and a dry bum!
